A circus slot machine with cascading reels and five bonus games

A brain teaser at a funfair at dusk: families, friends and couples wait in coloured queues at the foot of a big lit Ferris wheel, and you send them up one group at a time into the gondola of their colour. Groups that cannot ride yet wait on a small bench, and a full bench is the only way to get stuck, so every tap counts. Sixty rides with par, undo and hints, and a new daily ride every day.
Did you like Ferris Wheel Fill?
Ferris Wheel Fill opens at dusk at a travelling funfair: a big Ferris wheel lit with chasing bulbs, coloured gondolas swinging round, and visitors waiting in roped queues at its foot. Families, friends and couples each wear their group's colour and carry a balloon to match. The wheel brings one gondola down to the boarding platform at a time. Tap a queue and its front group walks up the steps and takes their seats when the gondola is their colour and has room for all of them; when every seat is filled, the bell rings and the wheel turns to the next one.
Groups that cannot ride yet wait on a small bench beside the queues, and the bench is the whole puzzle: it has three seats (four in the last rides), and a full bench with nobody who fits is the only way to get stuck. Undo takes back one turn at a time, restart sets the ride up again, and a hint shows the next move of a perfect run at the cost of the third star. Sixty rides in five sections bring more colours, bigger groups, gondolas of two to six seats, a VIP party that must ride first and side lines that join a queue once the groups ahead of them have moved on. Each ride has a par in turns: match it without a hint for three stars, and the stars fill the prize shelf with plush toys.
Every ride is built backwards from a full wheel and checked by a solver, so each one can be finished and its par is the true fewest turns. The daily ride, the same board for everyone on the day, is a quick brain teaser for a coffee break, and there is no clock anywhere, so it is a relaxing puzzle to take at your own pace. Each rider seated is worth five tickets and finishing at or under par scores a bonus, so every ride keeps a best score. Your stars, best turns and prizes are saved in your browser.
The bench is the only way to get stuck in Ferris Wheel Fill, so treat its seats as precious. Before you tap, look at the gondola on the platform and at the front group of every queue: a group that fits the gondola can board straight away, and one that does not will have to wait on the bench. Send a group to the bench only when it opens up the queue behind it, and best of all when you can already see the gondola it will ride in coming round.
Every ride has a par in turns, and matching it without a hint gives the third star, so on a first try play to finish the ride and use undo, which takes back one turn at a time, to test an idea. In the later sections watch for the VIP party, which must ride first, and for side lines that only join a queue once the groups ahead of them have moved on, and plan around both early. If you are really stuck, a hint shows the next move of a perfect run, at the cost of the third star.
Yes. Ferris Wheel Fill is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account to make. Your stars, best turns and plush prizes are saved in the browser you play in, and there is no clock, so you can take every ride at your own pace.
Yes. Tap a queue to send its front group up, or tap a group on the bench to board it. On a computer you can click in the same way, or press 1 to 4 for the queues and A, S, D and F for the bench seats, with U to undo and H for a hint.
Yes. Every ride is built backwards from a full wheel and checked by a solver, so each one can be finished and its par is the true fewest turns. If a full bench leaves you stuck, undo a few turns or restart the ride and try the groups in another order.
The daily ride is a new board every day, the same for everyone on that day: a quick brain teaser for a coffee break. It is scored like the other rides, with five tickets for every rider seated and a bonus for finishing at or under par.
Fairground stalls, big-top acts and plush prizes for the shelf.
