Grid Knight
Turn-based bonks on a tile grid

Tower Ascent is a quick roguelite climb up a tall, cosy tower. Pick a hero, step out of the lift and fight your way up one floor at a time. Every floor is a short turn-based battle against one to three cute foes: stair-slugs with shells shaped like steps, wind-up knights, cloud puffs and lantern moths. When the last one poofs, you choose one of three upgrades and take the stairs to the next floor, so no two climbs play the same.
Each fight is a small brain teaser. A strip at the top shows who acts next, and a faster hero gets more turns. Every foe shows its plan above its head with a number, so you can see the big bonk coming and Guard to halve it, spend energy on a skill, drink a berry juice or simply hit the weakest foe. Upgrades add stats, new skills such as Big Swing or Pillow Pop, and perks like Combo Gloves or a Spare Balloon that floats you back up once. A boss waits on every tenth floor, a rest stop on every fifth lets you nap or take rerolls, and the weather outside the windows changes as you climb, from garden sunshine through mist and snow to the stars.
Floor fifty is the summit, but the tower keeps going in an endless climb for anyone chasing a better best floor and a high score. If your hero faints, the cheerful lift attendant brings them back down to the lobby, ready for the next try, and reaching new heights unlocks the Tinkerer, the Sprite and five start perks. There is a daily climb that is the same tower for everyone that day, the climb saves after every move so you can stop and carry on later, and it plays with mouse, keyboard or touch.
Level up, gather loot and venture one floor deeper.
