Spider Solitaire

Spider Solitaire deals two packs into ten columns and leaves you fifty cards in the stock. Build down from king to ace to finish a run, and the run lifts off the table on its own. Clear all eight and the deal is done.

Pick your own difficulty before the first card falls. One suit is a gentle read of the table, two suits asks you to keep the spades and the hearts apart, and four suits is the full pack with nowhere to hide. Build down on any card regardless of suit, but only a matching-suit sequence travels as one piece, so the work is in sorting before you stack. The stock deals a fresh card to every column, and it will not deal at all while a column stands empty.

Drag a sequence with your mouse or your finger, or tap a card and it goes to the best legal spot by itself. Undo goes back as far as you like, Hint looks for a same-suit build first, and the score starts at 500, loses a point per move and gains a hundred for every run completed. The timer, the move count and your best score for each difficulty sit in the bar at the top, saved in your browser.
