Asteroids

Asteroids is the space-arcade classic rebuilt for the browser: a neon ship, drifting momentum and a field of rocks that only gets busier the better you play.

Big rocks are worth 20 points and break into two medium ones; medium rocks are worth 50 and break into small ones worth 100. Clear the field to reach the next level, where the rocks come faster. You have three lives, and every respawn gives you a moment of shielding to get your bearings.

On desktop, turn with the arrow keys or A and D, thrust with W or the up arrow and fire with Space. On phones and tablets the on-screen buttons do the same. Press P to pause and M to mute.
