Star Squadron
Ten stages, big bosses, one plucky fighter

Gyro Gunner is a twin-stick arena shooter drawn entirely in neon. You steer a small gyro-ship around a walled arena whose grid ripples with every explosion, and your lasers fire on their own wherever you aim. Every shape has its own habit: diamonds chase you, squares sidestep your shots, pinwheels drift in lazy spirals, snakes only fear a hit to the head, mines split into three shards when they pop, and black holes pull in everything nearby until you shoot them down or they burst from overeating.
Every shape you pop drops score gems, and every gem you sweep up raises your multiplier. Power-ups float in now and then: triple shot, rapid fire, bullet time that slows the swarm for four seconds, and a magnet that pulls every gem your way. You have three lives and a smart bomb with each one. Every fifth wave the Hexa Core arrives, a giant hexagon that sheds its layers as you wear it down, and beating it hands you an extra life.
Waves mode is thirty hand-built waves that each take around twenty seconds, with a continue every five, so a defeat only ever costs a couple of minutes. Endless keeps the waves and bosses coming for as long as you last while you chase a high score, and Daily gives everyone the same seed plus a twist for the day, such as gem rush or gravity day. Play quick rounds with keyboard and mouse or with two thumbs on a touch screen. Your best scores and unlocked checkpoints are saved in your browser. Press P to pause and M to mute.
Aim, fire and clear the sky, the sea and the stars.
