Read the brief, style the client

Nail Art is a little nail studio. A hand rests on a soft towel with five nails waiting, and every tool sits in the tray: a file for round, square, almond or coffin shapes in three lengths, twenty-four polishes with cream, glitter and chrome finishes, a brush in four widths for freehand lines and dots, eight stamps from hearts and waves to leopard and plaid, French tips, V tips, half moons and ombré fades, a sticker sheet of gems, pearls, tiny fruit and moons to drag on, and a top coat whose shine slides across the nails. Paint one nail at a time, or switch on mirror to all and every stroke lands on all five at once.
Painting is built for a phone. Tap a nail and the hand zooms in until that one nail fills the screen, so a finger has room for a wave or a row of dots; swipe to the next nail, then pinch or tap the hand button to zoom back out. When one hand is finished, copy it across to the other in a single tap, or give each hand its own accent nail.
Clients bring picture cards instead of a long brief: a theme such as summer, party, garden, galaxy, candy or minimal, a palette of three colours, a nail shape and one sticker they are hoping for. Press Done and both hands are held up under the lights with a sparkle and a round of applause, and the score explains itself with icons for shape, palette, theme, the wish and how well both hands match. A new daily client keeps a streak going, the queue of regular clients is endless if you are chasing a high score of three-star sets, and Free Studio has no brief and no score at all - a quick, relaxing place to paint, save your favourite sets to a gallery in your browser and keep a photo of them as a PNG.
