Read the brief, style the client

Dress Rush is the quick, arcade end of dress-up. Clients walk into a little boutique one after another, each with a short picture brief: an occasion card such as a beach day, a rainy city or a starlight gala, a palette of three colours, and from level three often one must-have piece like a hat, boots or a bag. The racks drift past at the side of the screen, and you drag or tap pieces onto the client's slots: a top and a bottom or a dress, then shoes and one extra. Outside the shop window a taxi is waiting, and when its meter runs out it honks.
Nobody fails here. When the taxi honks, the client simply leaves in whatever they are wearing, with a lower score and a smile. Press Send off before that and a camera flash reveals the look with a style score out of 100, explained with icons: how well each piece suits the occasion, how close the colours sit to the palette, whether the must-have made it and whether the outfit is complete. Scores of 60, 80 and 95 earn one, two or three stars, looks of 90 or more in a row build a combo worth up to triple points, and seconds left on the meter add a bonus.
Thirty levels of twelve clients move through six boutiques, from a pink corner shop to a starlight salon, and keep adding new racks, occasions and item types: 145 pieces drawn in code, from tees and wellies to tutus, top hats and flower crowns. Endless rush keeps the clients coming with a slowly shrinking timer until three taxis have honked, for a high score to beat, and the Daily rush hands everyone the same clients each day, with a streak for coming back. Clients come with every skin tone, hair texture, body shape and age, some with glasses, a hearing aid or a wheelchair. When you would rather relax, Free Studio has no clock at all: dress anyone in anything, recolour it, save the look and take a photo. It plays with a finger in portrait or with mouse and keyboard in landscape, and your stars, high score and saved looks stay in your browser.
