Read the brief, style the client

Tap beads, pearls, letter cubes, spacers and charms onto a cord to make necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Each client brings a picture-card brief, and the finished piece goes on a velvet display or on the client under a ring light.
Jewel Workshop is a bead-threading studio. A velvet bead board holds the cord, and a tray of 86 parts drawn in code sits beside it: round, faceted, glass, wooden and pearl beads, bicones, rondelles, letter cubes from A to Z, metal spacers, star, heart and moon charms, pendants, clasps and earring hooks. Every part comes in 16 colours and three sizes. Tap a part to thread it at the cursor, drag a bead along the cord to move it, double-tap it to take it off, and slide the length from a snug choker to a long matinee. The mirror makes every bead you add appear on the other side too, and the repeat tool copies your last few beads along the cord, so a long pattern takes a few taps instead of fifty.
Clients bring their brief as picture cards: a colour palette, an occasion such as a wedding, a festival, a gala, a kids' party or just everyday, a pattern to follow (alternating, symmetric, a repeat of three, graduated or spaced with metal), a length, and a charm they would love, like a star in the middle or the first letter of their name. When you are done, the piece is revealed on the client under a ring light, with a camera flash and a little sparkle, and you get a style score out of 100 with a line for each part of the brief. Score 60 or more to keep your streak going and chase a high score of three stars. There is a Daily client too, the same brief for everyone each day.
Free Studio has no brief and no score: everything is unlocked, and you can pick the model's skin tone, hair, top, glasses or hearing aid, or show your work on the velvet display instead. Save pieces to your jewellery box in your browser and open them again later, or take a photo as a PNG. It is a quick, calm thing to do for ten minutes, somewhere to relax and make something pretty. It plays on a phone held upright, with the tray under the board, or on a desktop with the mouse and keyboard.
