Shadow Thief
Sneak past the lanterns, steal the gold

A hooded hero with a sword, a dodge roll and a pouch of bombs goes down into a torch-lit dungeon: three floors of rooms full of slimes, bats, skeleton archers and shield knights, a locked door on every floor, and a big Slime King with a crown and a moustache waiting at the bottom.
Dungeon Delve is a quick roguelike dungeon crawler seen from above. Every run is a fresh dungeon of three floors, six to nine rooms each, joined by corridors. Somewhere on each floor a room hides the key, and the stairs or the boss sit behind a locked door. Fog covers every room you have not visited, the minimap fills in as you explore, and a run timer ticks in the corner. A full run takes about ten minutes, and a defeat only sends you back to the start of the floor you were on.
The fighting is all about timing. Your sword swings in a short arc and chains into a three-hit combo that finishes with a big spin, and the dodge roll makes you untouchable for a moment, so you can roll straight through a skeleton's arrow or the Slime King's shockwave. Slimes hop at you, bats flutter about unpredictably, archers keep their distance, and knights hold a shield in front, so you hit them from behind or right after they swing. Spike traps and arrow traps guard the deeper rooms, and bombs blow open cracked walls to reveal secret rooms.
Chests hold hearts, bombs or one of eight relics, from a giant's sword and feather boots to a vampire fang, thorn armour and a gold magnet, and every floor has a shop where a mole merchant sells hearts, bombs and relics for the gold you pick up. On floor three the Slime King waits in three phases, each angrier than the last. Play the daily dungeon, which is the same for everyone that day, start a quick run on a random seed, or type in a seed of your own, and chase a high score built from monsters knocked out, gold, floors and a fast finish. Keyboard, mouse or touch, and your best scores are kept in your browser.
Explore, fight and escape in bold little worlds.
