Hear a loop, rebuild it, make your own

Note Catcher is a music game where the song falls from the sky. Notes drop out of the clouds in five lanes, one lane for each pitch from low on the left to high on the right, and your catcher holds a big basket over their head at the bottom of the screen. Slide under a note as it reaches the basket and it plays that note of the melody, so a clean run sings the whole tune. Golden notes score double, grey rests are gaps to let fall past, and a dropped note only costs your combo: the song always plays on to the end.
There are twenty-four original songs in four styles, each a quick tune of under a minute: folk and classical in a sunny meadow, jazz and electro under a night sky, with the tempo and the number of notes rising as you go. Every song has a par score, three stars and your best score saved on your device, and the first song teaches the controls as you play. Once you have the rhythm, try Note Storm, an endless mode where the tempo climbs every four bars and the style changes as it goes, with a high score to chase until eight notes slip past.
All of the music, melody, bass, chords and light drums, is synthesised in your browser. Notes show up two bars ahead, faint beat lines fall with them and the ground pulses on every beat, so the game plays just as fairly with the sound off. A tap-along calibration screen measures the delay of your device and remembers it. Pick one of six catchers: Bruno the bear, Fern the fox, Fizz the frog, Miso the cat, Poppy the bunny or Bao the panda. Use the arrow keys or A and D, click a lane, or drag and tap on a touch screen. P pauses, M mutes.
