Race. Blast. Win.

The Smash Champs fighting game in your browser. Choose one of six champs, take on the others in their home arenas and fight best-of-three rounds with light combos, heavy hits, launchers, dodges and a three-level super. Coins from every fight buy skins and gear, and a Shadow champion waits in the dojo at the end.
Did you like Smash Champs Arena?
Smash Champs Arena puts the champs of Kiloo's Smash Champs games into a one-on-one fighting game. Pick your champ on the title screen, Jag the jaguar, Teddy the polar bear, or the fox, the gorilla, the hyena or the alligator, each with its own moves, speed, power and health. Press Fight and the arcade run begins: five worlds, one per rival arena, with two challengers and the arena's champion in each, then the Shadow boss in the dojo. Sixteen fights, best of three rounds, sixty seconds a round.
The controls follow the modern fighting-game layout: walk with the arrows, jump up, dodge down, and hold away from an attacking opponent to guard. Four buttons do the rest. Light chains up to three hits, Heavy hits hard and lunges when you press toward, Special is an uppercut launcher that becomes a guard-breaking leap toward and a sweep away, and Super spends a bar of the three-level meter you fill by landing hits, taking them and dodging. You can attack out of a jump as well, and a taunt builds meter while the other champ is down. On a gamepad the face buttons do the same, and on a phone or tablet the buttons are on screen.
Every fight pays coins, more for later worlds, champions, perfect rounds and long combos. Spend them on the character screen between fights: a second and third skin for each champ, and head, body and leg gear in three tiers that add power, health and speed. The computer opponents gear up as the run goes on. Your coins, outfits and collection are kept on the device. The seven stages are the Smash Champs arenas, the Dojo, the Temple Hall, the Arctic Crash Site, the Temple Garden, the Pueblo Plaza, the Toxic Sewer and the Bayou Swamp, each with its own music.
Smash Champs Arena rewards patience as much as attacking. Hold away from an attacking opponent to guard, and use the dodge on the down arrow to slip past a heavy hit. Light is your quickest tool and chains up to three hits, so start your combos with it. Heavy lunges forward when you press toward, which helps close the gap, and Special changes with direction: an uppercut launcher on its own, a guard-breaking leap toward, and a sweep away. Use the leap on a rival who keeps guarding.
The Super meter fills when you land hits, take them and dodge, and it has three levels, so you can save it for the moment that ends a round. A taunt builds meter while the other champ is down. Spend your coins between fights, because the computer opponents gear up as the run goes on. Head, body and leg gear add power, health and speed, and perfect rounds and long combos earn extra coins. Each champ has its own speed, power and health, so try a few before settling on one.
In Smash Champs Arena you choose a champ on the title screen and press Fight to start the arcade run. The run takes you through five worlds, one for each rival arena. In each world you face two challengers and then the arena's champion, and after the fifth world the Shadow boss waits in the dojo: sixteen fights in all. Every fight is best of three rounds, and each round lasts sixty seconds.
Walk with the arrow keys, jump with up and dodge with down. To guard, hold away from an opponent who is attacking. The attack buttons are 1 for Light, 2 for Heavy, 3 for Special and 4 for Super. Light is quick and chains up to three hits, Heavy hits hard and lunges when you press toward, and Special is an uppercut launcher that becomes a guard-breaking leap when you press toward and a sweep when you press away. Landing hits, taking them and dodging fill the three-level Super meter, and Super spends one bar of it. You can also attack out of a jump, T taunts and Esc pauses.
Every fight pays coins, which you spend on skins and gear on the character screen between fights. On a gamepad, X is Light, Y Heavy, B Special, A jumps, LB dodges and RB is Super. On a phone or tablet the buttons are on screen and you hold the device sideways.
Smash Champs Arena is a one-on-one fighting game in 3D, built on the champions and arenas of Smash Champs, a Kiloo mobile game from 2014. Kiloo, the Danish games studio in Aarhus that co-created Subway Surfers with SYBO Games, has brought those champs back for the browser, and the seven stages are the Smash Champs arenas, from the Dojo and the Temple Hall to the Toxic Sewer and the Bayou Swamp, each with its own music.
The game suits players who like an arcade fighter with a clear goal: work through the run and beat the Shadow boss at the end. The controls follow the modern fighting-game layout, so newcomers can get by with Light and Heavy while practised players chain combos, launchers and Super moves. Six champs, among them Jag the jaguar and Teddy the polar bear, each have their own moves, speed, power and health, and the skins and gear you buy with coins give every run a sense of progress. It plays with a keyboard or gamepad on a computer and with touch on phones and tablets.
Yes. Smash Champs Arena is free to play in your browser on Kiloo. There is nothing to download and no account needed. Your coins, outfits and collection are kept on the device you play on.
