Kiloo Founder Hits The Top Ten
Named One Of Denmark's Leading Entrepreneurs
Aarhus, Denmark. September 21st 2006
Jacob Møller, the founder and chief executive officer of Kiloo ApS has been voted one of the top ten entrepreneurs in Denmark, by the Danish business magazine Berlingske Tidende.
Chosen annually from the entire Danish business community, the top ten list reflects the individuals which Berlingske considers to have the drive, commitment and understanding to create a truly successful global business.
Jacob founded Kiloo in 2000, when he was only 19 years old, after working for a number of years as a programmer. Mobile gaming was in its infancy, with monochrome screens and only SMS and WAP technology available. Since then Kiloo has grown incredibly, becoming one of Europe's most successful publishers of mobile games and entertainment.
In 2002 Kiloo won the prestigious Nokia Mobile Challenge award for it's Popstar game. Now, in 2006, the company is one of Europe's most successful publishers of mobile games and entertainment. Kiloo's Hugo The Troll* games, based on the successful cartoon series, has sold over 2,000,000 copies and the company is the exclusive global partner with LEGO™ for mobile games.
"I am delighted to be chosen as one of the top ten entrepreneurs in Denmark" says Jacob. "It means a great deal to me to be recognized in this way. The mobile entertainment sector is still a young market in many ways and to have a magazine of Berlingske's reputation pick someone in such an emerging area shows the potential of the industry globally. Kiloo has achieved a great deal since it was founded and we plan to build on our past success. We have a great many new partnerships, deals and games to announce in the near future which will ensure Kiloo remains on the cutting edge of mobile entertainment for a long time to come."
